Personally, I've read A Brief History of Time and Black Holes and Baby Universes, I'm not an extreme physics brain, I just find it interesting. Definitely a great picture though!

Google Shareholder's Proxy Statement

I don't really have time to read Google's share holder information, and the fact that I'm not a share holder and can't comfortably afford even one share in Google, makes the idea of me reading the Google proxy statement even more ridiculous.

Who am I kidding? I will spend precious daytime, work hours reading that damn document, as if it means something to me, then I will probably talk about it as if it means something to me. This is because there was something on slashdot.com about interesting information in it regarding Freedom of Speech and censorship, dunno but I'm going to check it out.

3D Glasses Back In Style

Disney recently came out out "Meet The Robinson's" a 3D animated film and one of the first of it's kind. I haven't seen the movie, but now I definitely want to check it out. Apparently, the technology used for this type of 3D animated effect is a far cry from what I remember about 3D, like the SpiderMan Ride at Universal studios, or big goofy red glasses that only seemed half real.

The company that has been working on the project is Read D, who's president and co-founder Joshua Greer looks like he might have just stepped out of a comic book store, and doesn't look a day over 25.

What makes Read D and Greer special as far as revolutionizing the 3D cinema effect, is that they have been working hard, diligently and without reserve. They focused completely on 3D cinema effects, an industry that might have appeared almost dead and long gone to most of us who remember getting a head ache, while feeling the pinch of Back to the Future style glasses pinning down on our temples. I don't pretend to understand the dynamics, technology and back story on the entire world of 3d cinema, but I do know that it sounds very interesting, exciting and in my mind brings up some interesting theories on how this new technology might effect stocks :)

Intel Inside Partners Google In Marketing Plan

Intel Inside is the world's largest microprocessor supplier, providing computer "insides" to resellers and private licenses. Like any good manufacturer, they had their own way of assisting their resellers and licensees in marketing the products that often go unnoticed and less understood than say, a 22" flat screen monitor. This included the ability for resellers to use their funds to purchase "gift-like" products with the intel logo and their purchasing agent, like pens, cups and mouse pads.

Intel is now partnering with Google to offer the resellers an entirely new marketing suite that gives them ability to conduct marketing campaigns using Google Adwords. Sounds simple, right? Well, if it were simple it would be much of partnership. Google is offering an interface that eases the resellers in purchasing campaigns, creating templates, managing their marketing initiatives and more.

The bigger picture here implies Google shift into a major hardware industry. Their reputation for sticking with what works and improving upon it without changing pace too much is also prevalent. The partnership still requires Google to customize their Adwords marketing products and also to create a whole new PRODUCT for the "Intel Inside" reseller and licensee program.

While this merger is certainly not as juicy as say, Google's consumption of YouTube, it is still going to manifest some change within industries. As the new product emerges and goes into execution on April 29, more companies may want in. I don't just mean microprocessor companies...Any product manufacturer that largely depends on it's resellers and licensee marketing to succeed will have interest!
