Intel Inside Partners Google In Marketing Plan
Intel Inside is the world's largest microprocessor supplier, providing computer "insides" to resellers and private licenses. Like any good manufacturer, they had their own way of assisting their resellers and licensees in marketing the products that often go unnoticed and less understood than say, a 22" flat screen monitor. This included the ability for resellers to use their funds to purchase "gift-like" products with the intel logo and their purchasing agent, like pens, cups and mouse pads.
Intel is now partnering with Google to offer the resellers an entirely new marketing suite that gives them ability to conduct marketing campaigns using Google Adwords. Sounds simple, right? Well, if it were simple it would be much of partnership. Google is offering an interface that eases the resellers in purchasing campaigns, creating templates, managing their marketing initiatives and more.
The bigger picture here implies Google shift into a major hardware industry. Their reputation for sticking with what works and improving upon it without changing pace too much is also prevalent. The partnership still requires Google to customize their Adwords marketing products and also to create a whole new PRODUCT for the "Intel Inside" reseller and licensee program.
While this merger is certainly not as juicy as say, Google's consumption of YouTube, it is still going to manifest some change within industries. As the new product emerges and goes into execution on April 29, more companies may want in. I don't just mean microprocessor companies...Any product manufacturer that largely depends on it's resellers and licensee marketing to succeed will have interest!

Tired Of Played Out Pop Music?
Remember the days when MTV actually played music videos? When you could watch music videos for hours, while jotting down every new and upcoming artist you heard so you could go buy their album next time you went to the store?
I do! Sometimes it's so hard to find new music, good music, soulful music, listen to the acoustic guitar and powerful words by yourself good music. Sometimes I find myself having to distinguish between what I like and what I think I should like, just by testing to see if I can bear the artist when I'm alone in my car.
Look no further, I have found hours of incredible music, by aspiring unsigned artists at www.unsigned.com
The acoustic artists genre is incredible, and has tons of great musicians singing soulful, written lyrics and acoustic guitar backing. It's so refreshing to hear music you know wasn't written by some fat old man trying to sell records in a studio.
All the music is new, genuine and powerful. If you're looking for good music in any genre from Hard Rock Artists to emo artists to christian music you have to check out unsigned.com
Probably the perfect place to find a band to fill a venue, and offer new artists their chance at stardom.

Wanted: Geek Blogger To Take Apart Electronics
TechRepublic is holding gadget-geek tryouts. If you make the varsity squad, we'll give you money–and free tech. TR has a shortage of time and talent available to dissect home electronics and document the carnage, which we gleefully refer to as Cracking Open. If you think you can create a Cracking Open gallery as good or better than the TR pros, we'll sign you to a paying contributor gig and arrange for a steady flow of free gadgets and gear that you can lovingly deconstruct.
Here's the deal: Submit your own Cracking Open gallery to TR editor Bill Detwiler (use the Send Private Message link on his contributor page). The gallery must include digital photos of the disassembled tech, along with captions explaining what is shown and how you took it apart. Extra points for flair, verve, and entertaining geekiness in both the visuals and text. The best submissions will be converted to galleries on the TR Web site, with the contributing members paid for their featured work. The best overall contributor(s) will be offered a regular gig creating Cracking Open galleries for TR–a deal which includes access to TR-purchased gizmos and gadgets.
A few words of caution: This must be original content, you can't copy the photos from someone else's Web site and make up your own captions. The captions must be original, too. Also, we'd prefer it if you didn't crack open a gadget we've already done. And for all you Brits, Aussies and Canucks out there, yes, this offer is open to persons residing outside the United States. If you can speak and write reasonable English, you're eligible. (This will obviously rule out many candidates, Americans included.)
Questions or comments? Contact Bill or leave a reply to this blog post. Otherwise, get crackin'!
